In re: Keynes v. Hayek

This video, posted in April, has apparently gone viral recently. Nonetheless, it presents a false dichotomy. There are other economists whose ideas worked better than either of these guys, namely, Alexander Hamilton.

Hamilton would take the Jonathan Swift concept, that this video is is like Gulliver's voyage to Lilliput, likening it to political strife of the little endians versus the big endians, who fought wars over which end of an egg was the proper end to open.

Both Keynes and Hayek believed in unfettered global markets.  100 years later, the debate between their two sides rages, while the proven doctrines of Hamilton fade with the dwindling economy.
